2015 - Electronic Arts
Electronic Arts holds a forum once a quarter for employees to present new ideas to the company. The idea my team had was to let indie developers use old Electronic Arts assets and IP to create new games.
The idea being presented was to use old Electronic Arts intellectual property as a starting point for small game teams to create their own game without needing to start from scratch. Electronic Arts would help individuals form a team and provide guidence during the development process. The best way to refine the idea was to create visuals displaying how the process would work.
Users of the system could vote on the game idea to use for a given intellectual property. The winner would go on to the next round and more developers would join the team.
Each owner of a game idea had to sell their idea to attract team members and get votes. This page provides game descriptions, concept art, theme music and a forum to discuss the game.
Once a game was being developed users of the system can view who is working on the team. View each team members profile to see other projects they worked on.
Members have their own profile page that tracks the games they have contributed to, their rating by team members, and their development skills.
